It has come to our attention that an individual is falsely using Jennifer's name, photograph, and a fabricated CIA badge—copied from images circulating online—to contact people and potentially attempt impersonation fraud. Some of these outreach attempts have targeted older Americans, which highlights the importance of cyber awareness tips for protecting your family online.
To avoid any confusion, please note the following:
Jennifer will never contact individuals privately to request money, bank information, gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or 'urgent' payments of any kind.
She is not engaged in law enforcement, private investigations, government investigations, or any form of debt collection or casework.
If you receive a message claiming to be from Jennifer—especially one involving secrecy, urgency, or financial requests—please treat it as suspicious. Remember, maintaining home network security can help prevent such scams.
If you believe you’ve been contacted by an imposter, you are encouraged to report all suspected fraud to the platform on which contact was made and the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov and to ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Additionally, consider reviewing the online influence playbook for further guidance on staying safe online.
